When we talk about Malaysia, one of the thing people would talk about would be the FOODs !
What's your favourite Malaysia food ?
For me, it would be Nasi Lemak with Rendang Ayam.
Fragrant rice dish cooked in coconut milk and pandan leaf, served with some sambal, fried anchoview, hardboiled egg and a few slices of cucumbers. What an irresistable local favourite of all time.
Want to try out the Nasi Lemak i just described ?
If you are a foodie (a person with a particular interest in food) , then i would recommend you continue to read this because not every Nasi Lemak tastes the same.
Since 1979, Nasi Lemak Kampung Pandan is very well known among the local community. For a solid 38 years, what's the secret recipe that makes people crave for Nasi Lemak Kampung Pandan? The secret lies in the home made recipe sambal.
There were no food trucks selling foods in 1979, Mak Cik Non who is the 5th generation realised there is a market for food truck business 1 year ago and therefore she branched out the business from the traditional brick and mortar and starts selling the very famous Nasi Lemak through food truck.
Since food truck has great mobility, it is able to reach more people from different areas especially those who eager to try the Nasi Lemak but think the physical shop at Taman Maluri,Kuala Lumpur just quite a distance (Address is provided below)
Beyond the basic serving Nasi Lemak , there are many choice of add-ons to make up a perfect combination. For me, the best combination is always Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang. Don't worry, as the Nasi Lemak served is wallet-friendly and it is very worth it to eat something that took hours to prepare and prepared by heart.
Don't be perceived by the look of the very simple Nasi Lemak, because you will never know how good it is until you try it.
So what time do they open?
In Malaysia, any time is nasi lemak o clock
According to Mak Cik Non, if she is not busy, she will open the food truck everyday and since it is a food truck, it moves around from time to time and the operating hours are not fixed. However they have a stall at Pasar Muhibbah In Taman Nirwana open from 7am -12pm everyday except monday.
| Did i mention they were in Newspaper |
Aside from the food truck business, Mak Cik Non also have a catering business which help to cater all your need. Call her for more details
